The Artist

Article publié pour The Guestlist Network : http://www.guestlist.net/article/the-artist/

If you want to experiment a new cinema experience, The Artist is for you.
Although the recent movies are using more and more new technologies as 3D or special effect, the French movie The Artist takes back all the specificities of old school cinema.
The movie has the specificity to be in black and white, but especially silent. That mean the spectators have to focus on the actor’s movements. The actors take their game: Bérénice Bejot, and mainly Jean Dujardin, which won the BAFTA and Oscar 2012.
In addition to being original, The Artist is really an excellent movie which won as well the Oscar for the best movie. The scene takes place in Hollywood in 1927, Valentin (Jean Dujardin), an actor really famous, meets Peppy Miller (Bérénice Bejot), a beginner in cinema, the talking picture is going to change their life.
Definitely, The Artist lends freshness to the cinema.
This film is suitable for the whole family and definitely a must see!
